🌿 Distance Healing – Frequently Asked Questions

How can healing work at a distance?

Energy is not limited by physical location. Distance healing works through focused intention and heart-centered presence. Just as prayer, meditation, and intention can be offered across space, Kokoro Healing sessions allow your body and energy system to receive support wherever you are.

Many clients are surprised by how deeply they feel the session β€” even from miles away.

Is distance healing as effective as in-person sessions?

Yes. Distance sessions are just as effective as in-person work.

The same modalities β€” Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reiki, and shamanic practice β€” are woven into each session. What matters most is the quality of presence and intention, not physical proximity.

Some clients even find it easier to relax and soften in their own space.

What do I need for a distance session?

Very little.

  • A quiet, comfortable place to lie down or sit

  • A stable internet or phone connection (if meeting live)

  • An open mind and willingness to receive

You do not need special equipment, preparation rituals, or prior experience.

What happens during a distance session?

We begin by briefly connecting and setting intention. During the session, you will rest comfortably while I hold focused healing presence and work with your energy system.

You may feel warmth, tingling, emotional release, deep relaxation, or subtle shifts. Every experience is unique. Some sessions feel powerful and noticeable; others feel quiet and gentle.

Both are healing.

What if I don’t feel anything?

Not feeling strong sensations does not mean the session isn’t working.

Healing often unfolds subtly. Many clients notice the shifts afterward β€” improved sleep, emotional clarity, a sense of lightness, or feeling more grounded in the days that follow.

Your system receives what it is ready for.

How should I prepare afterward?

After your session, drink water, move gently, and give yourself space if possible. Integration may continue for several days as your body settles into renewed balance.

Be gentle with yourself.

Who is distance healing for?

Distance sessions are especially supportive for:

  • Sensitive or overwhelmed systems

  • Clients outside the Idyllwild area

  • Those who prefer privacy

  • Individuals navigating stress, transition, or emotional fatigue

If you feel called to this work, distance is not a barrier.
