Mother Earth Healing Center is both a business and a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing alternative healing, education, and support for all beings, including the Earth. Founded by Christina Lee Mushin Nordella in honor of her twin sister Kathleen, who passed from ovarian cancer, the center has been serving the Idyllwild community and beyond since 2002. Christina, with over 30 years of experience in healing, created Kokoro Healing, a heart-centered practice that integrates Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reiki (Master level) and Shamanism. Each healing session raises your frequency permanently by releasing old beliefs systems to allow self-love and healing, directly changing your vibration and point of attraction.
About the modalities individually:
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a n ancient Japanese healing art that that works with 26 specific points on each side of the body called “Safety Energy Locks.” These points lie along energy pathways where life force energy flows. When a person experiences stress, illness, or emotional strain, the energy at these points can become blocked. By lightly placing the hands on one or more of these points, the energy flows to rebalance and reduce stress to support physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Reiki is another Japanese energy healing practice. In a Reiki session, a practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above a person’s body to channel what is called universal life energy. The goal is to support healing and promote deep relaxation.
Shamanism is an ancient spiritual practice found in many Indigenous cultures around the world. A shaman acts as a spiritual healer who connects with the spirit world through rituals, drumming, chanting, or altered states of consciousness. Shamanism focuses on restoring balance between the physical and spiritual worlds. It is deeply rooted in cultural traditions and often involves ceremony and community healing.

Client Reviews
I did not believe in “energy” work, but my friend kept insisting to give it a try and recommended Christina. I am 76 years old and suffer from chronic arthritis and stiff joints. After one session, I felt years younger and had more energy. I am now a regular client and am so happy! Christina is wonderful. -Miriam Mcghee

My first session was truly a Divine appointment as I had just gotten COVID and Chris was able to treat me remotely through the worst of it until I was restored.. Her insight and experience are top level, she knows her stuff! I am forever grateful to have her support. She is a lifeline for me.
